Composer Alvin Curran (born 13 December 1938 in Providence, Rhode Island) is the co-founder, with Frederic Rzewski and Richard Teitelbaum, of Musica Elettronica Viva, and the previous student of Elliott Carter. Curran's music typically makes apply of electronics & environmental found sounds. Curran works since 1996 on compositions called Inner Cities at the moment there are Twelve of the babies.
